The Adaptation Center

One entity that has come to our attention is The Adaptation Center. We wish to make the following clear:

• The Adaptation Center should not represent itself as Scriptor House, Scriptor House Films, an official division or department of either organization, or an authorized representative acting on behalf of either organization.
• Scriptor House LLC and Scriptor House Films have not authorized The Adaptation Center to represent itself as either entity or to create the impression that communications, services, proposals, agreements, or business dealings conducted through The Adaptation Center originate from or are officially endorsed by Scriptor House or Scriptor House Films.
• Any similarity in services, terminology, industry language, or references to adaptation, publishing, film, or entertainment does not establish an affiliation with Scriptor House or Scriptor House Films.

Other Unauthorized Representations

The Adaptation Center is not the only entity involved in representations that may cause confusion. We are also aware of other parties that have used or referenced the Scriptor House or Scriptor House Films identity in ways that may lead members of the public to believe they are officially connected to our organizations.

Some may use similar names, descriptions of services, company information, project references, personnel names, branding elements, or other identifying information to create an appearance of affiliation.

Official Correspondence and Communications

To protect our authors, clients, filmmakers, partners, and members of the public from confusion, please be advised that official correspondence from Scriptor House LLC and Scriptor House Films should come through our authorized company communication channels and representatives.

If you receive a message from someone claiming to represent Scriptor House or Scriptor House Films, but the communication does not come through an authorized company channel, we recommend verifying the person's relationship with us before proceeding. This applies regardless of how the claimed relationship is described, including claims of being an employee, representative, agent, partner, consultant, affiliate, division, department, or other authorized party.

Our Official Identity

For the avoidance of doubt, the following are the two official entities operating under the Scriptor House name:

Neither organization has authorized unrelated third parties to present themselves as Scriptor House, Scriptor House Films, or an official division, department, extension, partner, or representative of our organizations without express authorization.

The Adaptation Center is a separate entity and should not represent itself as Scriptor House, Scriptor House Films, or an authorized representative of either organization. Likewise, any other company, agency, organization, or individual making a similar claim without authorization should not be considered an official representative of Scriptor House or Scriptor House Films.

Protecting Our Clients and Community

We value the trust placed in Scriptor House and Scriptor House Films by our authors, clients, filmmakers, partners, and professional community.

This notice is being issued to eliminate confusion and to help ensure that individuals who wish to work with us can clearly distinguish official Scriptor House / Scriptor House Films communications from communications made by separate and unauthorized entities.

If you encounter a website, email, proposal, social media account, advertisement, company, agency, or individual claiming an affiliation with Scriptor House or Scriptor House Films, please contact us directly so that the claim can be verified.
